The Company were initially asked to find a number of upmarket development sites that fitted a specific development brief, and the client kindly provide a plan showing a potential site.
LSL Land & New Homes identified that the site had potential for residential development and was previously the subject of a planning refusal.
LSL Land & New Homes assessed the reasons for refusal and determined an acquisition strategy.
Having established the identity of the landowner, we met with him and discussed the process; including a strategic move to buy the adjacent land from parties who had objected to the previous application.
LSL Land & New Homes agreed terms with the main land owner and also had numerous meetings with the adjoining land owners, which culminated in us buying their rear gardens
The client purchased the site on a subject to planning basis and we liaised with the land owners throughout the due diligence process, and advised them on certain legal/design aspects.
